It is emphasized that citizens have access to instant payment of fees and charges for services provided by the Ministry of Interior and Tax Administration via the eGovernment portal – ePlati, by scanning the NBS IPS QR code displayed on a unique payment slip created through this portal.
Services available in the NBS IPS payment system, in addition to the basic capability of instant fund transfers to any recipient with a current bank account, include payment of monthly obligations to utility and other service providers by scanning the unique NBS IPS QR code printed on the bill or invoice.
Payments are possible at physical and online sales points using the methods “IPS Scan” and “IPS Show,” as well as through the “IPS Scan” method at online sales points, which allows payment via deep link technology in a few clicks, and using the “Transfer” service – specifying the recipient’s identifier, i.e., their mobile phone number. The NBS website offers services such as Generator and Validator, enabling the generation of NBS IPS QR codes and validation of already prepared codes.
