Vojvodina launches major water and wastewater projects with 3.9 billion dinars in funding

In the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, significant infrastructure projects are underway to upgrade water supply and wastewater treatment facilities across five municipalities. The Provincial Government, through the Administration for Capital Investments of Vojvodina, is funding these initiatives with a total investment of 3.9 billion dinars. The projects are being implemented in the municipalities of Ada, Beočin, Odžaci, Temerin, and Irig.

Among the key projects is the construction of a new water factory and pumping station in Ada and Mol, which includes the installation of advanced drinking water conditioning equipment. Additionally, work is progressing on the reconstruction and expansion of the well water purification plant in Beočin and its surrounding areas, including the construction and equipping of new wells.

In Vrdnik, part of Irig municipality, a new wastewater treatment plant is under construction. The provincial budget also supports the extension and modernization of the drinking water preparation plant, as well as the development of a well water purification plant at Staro Đurđevo in the municipality of Temerin.
