The city of Sombor has revealed plans for a public presentation regarding the urban project for a new production complex dedicated to mixing and filling paints and sprays specifically for the automotive industry. The facility is set to be constructed on a 63,899 m² plot designated for work zones, as outlined in the project developed by Arhitop doo from Bačka Topola.

This site, sold to Balkan Technical Aerosol doo—a company based in Belgrade—for 46.5 million dinars, marks a significant investment in the region. Balkan Technical Aerosol, founded in 2022 and owned by three Russian nationals, specializes in producing detergents and cleaning agents.

According to the plans by Konstruktor consulting doo, the new factory aims to employ around 120 individuals, with 100 positions in production and 20 in administration and sales. The total estimated cost of the project is approximately 2.2 billion dinars, or about 18.7 million EUR.
