Renting apartments by the hour – A growing trend in Serbia

Supported byspot_img

Short-term apartment rentals, a business that has experienced a global boom, has now evolved even further in Serbia, with hourly rentals gaining popularity. In Belgrade, renting an apartment for a few hours has become a trendy option, especially for those visiting the capital on business, looking for a place to relax before a night out, or enjoying a private moment with a loved one.

Typically, these apartments are rented for three-hour intervals, with time slots mostly ranging from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Prices vary depending on the location. A quick break in a 30-square-meter apartment on Zvezdara or New Belgrade could cost 20 to 25 euros, while apartments in the city center, such as those on Gospodar Jevremova Street, go for 40 euros, and those in the Belgrade Waterfront area can be rented for 50 euros. These prices are typically 10 to 15 euros cheaper than daily rentals.

A company in Belgrade has been offering daily stays in their apartments for several years now. For a higher price, they also offer additional services. Their minimum stay is three hours, with a cost of 2,000 dinars, and if the guest wants to enjoy a jacuzzi, they can add another 1,000 dinars to the bill.

For those wanting to surprise a loved one, a “romantic package” is available for an additional 4,000 dinars (around 35 euros). This package includes rose petals, scented candles, a bubble bath, champagne, and a beautifully decorated apartment. For those who prefer a night stay, the price for a full-night rental starting at 9:00 PM is 6,000 dinars, or 7,000 dinars (60 euros) with the romantic package. As with any service, the price reflects the experience, so those seeking a late-night stay can expect to pay more.
