Advans Group, headquartered in Paris, has announced the acquisition of Niri Intelligent Computing, a Serbian company based in Niš specializing in software engineering services. The Niš-based team will now become part of Avisto Eastern Europe, a subsidiary of Advans Group known for its software development expertise.

With 300 engineers across three design centers in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš— the first of which was established 20 years ago— Serbia plays a pivotal role in Advans Group’s growth and success, the company said in a statement.

This acquisition marks the second for Advans Group in the field of software engineering. Founded by Radomir Jovanović, Advans Group now has offices and centers in France, Serbia, Portugal, and the United States, encompassing three companies: Elsys Design (embedded electronics design), Avisto (software development) and Mecagine (mechanical design).

Miloš Milutinović, Regional Director of Avisto Eastern Europe, stated, “This acquisition is a key step in expanding our presence in the region and strengthening our capabilities in developing both application and embedded software.”

The Niri acquisition is in line with Advans Group’s growth strategy, combining organic expansion with strategic acquisitions. Following its July 2024 acquisition of La Chouette in France, this is Advans Group’s first acquisition in Serbia. Through its development centers and direct client site support, Advans Group assists major European and U.S. industrial companies with specialized technical projects.
