Serbia changes the model of economic development and diversifies economic cooperation

Serbia’s Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic stated that the government decided to change the model of economic development from the previous decade and to diversify economic cooperation. Dinkic told Radio Television of Serbia that the government determined to turn to the East in its economic cooperation, specifically to Russia, China, Persian Gulf countries and Turkey.

The Minister pointed out that economic cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be one of the most important projects of the Serbian government. He specified that company Al Dahra Agriculture from the UAE will invest €100 million for acquiring 80% of share in joint companies in which the state will keep 20% of ownership.
