The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, in collaboration with the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), has expanded its campaign offering certain “NIS Agro” cardholders the opportunity to purchase Euro diesel and Opti diesel at a promotional price of 179 dinars per liter. This promotion, running until February 15, 2025, targets users who do not have areas registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings as of January 25, 2025—the date the Regulation on Limiting the Price of Oil Derivatives came into effect, according to the Ministry’s press release.

The expanded campaign now includes registered farms involved in various agricultural sectors, such as animal husbandry and beekeeping, along with users who, based on their registered areas, had previously benefited from the preferential fuel price set by the regulation. Eligible users can purchase up to 500 liters of fuel at the promotional price in one or more transactions at all NIS Petrol and Gazprom gas stations.

The Ministry further explained that the Regulation on Limiting the Price of Oil Derivatives allows registered agricultural holdings with sown areas of arable land to purchase Euro diesel at a maximum retail price of 179 dinars per liter. This purchase is limited to 100 liters per hectare, up to a maximum of 100 hectares.
