“I expect that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will succeed in making a sustainable and important agreement on gas supply at the meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and that Serbia will have stability in the gas sector,” Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlović said today.
“Two things are important here, not only the price of gas, but long-term supply,” she pointed out after the opening of the 16th International Energy Fair.
Minister Mihajlović reminded that today the whole world has problems with gas supply, regardless of whether the reasons for that crisis are political or economic.
“Therefore, if we manage to get a long-term contract with a sustainable price, which cannot be 270 dollars for 1,000 cubic meters as it was, but I certainly believe that it will be acceptable, and I certainly believe that Srbijagas has already worked together with Gazprom and that after that meeting, Serbia will have a stability in the gas sector,” said Mihajlović, Dnevnik reports.
