The Serbian government has extended price caps on petroleum products for another six months to stabilize the market and support farmers. The price of euro diesel for registered agricultural holdings is fixed at 179 dinars per liter.
Maximum retail prices for euro diesel and BMB 95 gasoline will be set every Friday based on average wholesale prices in Serbia, plus a fixed margin of 17 dinars per liter. The Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade determines these prices using data from the Ministry of Mining and Energy. If Friday is a holiday, prices will be announced on the last working day of the week.
Subsidized euro diesel at 179 dinars per liter is available to registered farms for up to 100 liters per hectare, with a maximum of 100 hectares. Only farms that have not fully used this right under the previous regulation are eligible.
The regulation excludes additive-enhanced fuels, which require a declaration of additives when marketed.
Violations of the regulation can result in fines and up to one year of activity suspension. This measure will remain in force for six months from the regulation’s effective date.
