Serbia, Foreign trade with Germany exceeded EUR 6 billion

In the first nine months of this year, the foreign trade exchange between Serbia and Germany exceeded EUR 6 billion, and goods worth EUR 2.8 billion were exported from Serbia to Germany, which represents an increase of 40% compared to the same period last year, he said. Minister of Economy Rade Basta during the meeting with the Ambassador of Germany in Belgrade, Anke Konrad.
Basta pointed out that Germany is our “most important trading partner, one of the most important investors and the biggest donor”, it was stated on the website of the Government of Serbia.
On that occasion, Anke Konrad stated that the Ministry of Economy in the coming period will have a decisive influence on the development of the institutional framework in the field of economy, assessing that Serbia is an attractive place for investors and that this opportunity should be used to its full capacity.
As Basta stated, the ministry will strive to be accessible to all citizens of Serbia, but also to investors who want to expand their business and hire more people, adding that the priority in further work will be workers, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
As he said, the attention will also be focused on students who are an important segment of our society and who should be enabled to work and gain new experiences while they are studying, because that way we will get the best staff, the Government website states, eKapija reports.
