This year, for the first time, the Ministry of Economy is providing funds for young people up to the age of 30 who are starting their business, said the Minister of Economy, Andjelka Atanaskovic.
“We want to keep young people in Serbia, to give them the opportunity to work here and start their own families. That is why, in order to help them start their own business, we have allocated 850 thousand euros for a support program for women entrepreneurs and young people,” said Atanaskovic at the conference of economics students “Connect” on Zlatibor.
It is a combination of 35 percent, ie 45 percent of non-refundable funds and favorable loans from the Development Fund, and the public call is open until the available funds are spent, by December 31 at the latest.
“You are the ones we have to ask when thinking about the future, because you are the ones who are leaving the country, who will lead it and who will suit young people not only today, but also those who are coming. The future of Serbia also depends on you, we must work together to develop our economy, and the doors of the Ministry of Economy are open to you,” Atanaskovic said.
The conference of students of economics, which is being held in the period from April 16 to 19, organized by the Student Union of the Faculty of Economics, will gather about 300 delegates, and is dedicated to entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Privilege announced, N1 reports.
