Pensions in Serbia have increased by 12.2%, and the payments, initially scheduled for January 10, have been advanced to be issued before the Christmas holidays.
With this increase, the average pension will amount to approximately €437.

Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, which came into effect last year, now stipulate that adjustments to pensions and other rights under the pension and disability system take effect from December 1 of the current year, rather than January 1 as was previously the case.
