Marko Čadež, the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), announced that the PKS has officially joined the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), a global trade organization connecting over 300 trade centers across 100 countries. This membership is set to enhance Serbia’s international business ties.
As part of this partnership, the World Trade Center Belgrade is scheduled to open before the “EXPO Belgrade 2027” exhibition. Čadež described it as a hub for business networking, events, and idea exchange, aiming to foster successful companies in Serbia and beyond.
The partnership between PKS and the WTCA was formalized through the signing of a License Agreement. John E. Drew, the WTCA Board President, emphasized that this collaboration marks the expansion of the WTCA into the Western Balkans, with Belgrade set to become a key global trade center.
The cooperation builds on PKS’s international engagements, notably its successful partnership with the Dubai World Trade Center, which organizes the world’s largest technology fair, “Gitex Global.”
