The Government of Serbia has approved a new regulation for the subsidized purchase of electric vehicles in 2025, offering up to EUR 5,000 in state support. Minister of Environmental Protection, Irena Vujović, announced that individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses can begin applying for the subsidy from February 3 to October 31, 2025.

With a budget of 170 million dinars allocated for this initiative, subsidies will range from EUR 250 to EUR 5,000 depending on the type of vehicle. Vujović also highlighted that the production of the Fiat Grande Panda electric car in Kragujevac is expected to boost demand for these subsidies, as this model will be eligible for the maximum EUR 5,000 support.

If demand exceeds the allocated funds, Vujović assured that additional resources will be sought to ensure all applicants within the specified period can benefit from the program and purchase environmentally friendly vehicles.
