Serbia mobile operators need to improve web presence – study

Serbian mobile operators mt:s, Telenor and Vip Mobile need to improve their online presence, primarily in the customer support area, according to the second Proceni Web Report – Prooperateri, reports Tanjug. The report points out that a carefully designed presence on the internet, addressing specific groups of users, the use of lesser-known but popular social networks, active and proactive customer support, are rare in mobile telephony services in Serbia. None of the analysed companies obtained the maximum score of 10, while Telenor achieved the best result (6.8).

In addition to Facebook and Twitter, mobile operators use Instagram, but with a very low frequency of publication. Telenor uses Linkedin for employment, while Telenor and Vip Mobile use Google Plus for content that resembles that on Facebook. All analysed companies achieved the best reviews for the quality their YouTube channels. According to the coordinator of the Proceni Web project, Dragana Djermanovic, Serbian mobile operators invest over EUR 50 million in advertising every year.
