Serbia Nikola Tesla Airport gets new handler

Belgrade – One local company today starts with handling activities at the “Nikola Tesla” Airport.

With this morning’s take-off of an airline company Wizzair, new domestic handler began a new business operation phase.

As announced from the Sky Partners, Wizz air will not be the only new client, and this is the expansion beginning of that private handler at the airport.

“We have invested in equipment for the ground handling, opened 45 new job positions, and if we look at operations in the context of our founding companies SAMSIC Assistance and Europe Handling Group, the Belgrade airport is the twentieth in our joint portfolio”, said the Director of Sky Partner, Mr. Vladimir Trifunovic.

The company was founded in 2012, with the assistance of foreign direct investment between two leading French companies in Handling business – SAMSIC Assistance and Europe Handling Group. Currently divided into two sectors, Sky Partner is handling the operations and an aircraft.

“We are the only in the Balkans that have certificate in the field of aircraft ground handling, we ended up the last business year with a profit, and in this year, we are planning the signing of new clients. Concrete plans to expand in both segments of our business, will put into focus giving opportunities to young professionals in the aviation profession”, Trifunovic said.
