The basis for granting subsidies are organized bringing of groups of domestic or foreign tourists, as well as organized bringing of tourist groups of foreign tourists by the organizers or mediators of the international congress, ie international corporate event in which the subsidy beneficiary acts as a local agent and organizes accommodation service.

Incentives can be expected from domestic agencies that, as a local agent, participate in the realization when a foreign travel agency brings a group of foreign tourists in an organized manner.

Incentives can also be counted on by agencies – local agents in the organized bringing of tourist groups of foreign tourists by the organizers or mediators of an international congress or corporate event for the organization of part of such events.

The amount of state subsidy funds depends on the basis on which the domestic agency is entitled to the subsidy, the number of overnight stays, and in some cases the type of transportation and the country from which foreign tourists come, the Ministry said in a statement, Politika reports.
