The company GEB – Shandong Golden Empire Precision Machinery Technology plans to build a factory in Serbia to supply the renowned automaker BMW. This was announced by the Minister of Economy, Adrijana Mesarović, following talks with representatives of the Chinese companies GEB and MINT about new investments in Serbia.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that Serbia is among the top candidates for this major investment and expressed hope for positive news soon.
She emphasized that this would further confirm that global leading companies choose Serbia for their investments, showcasing the country’s economic stability and growth.
Mesarović also mentioned that MINT, which currently employs 3,000 people in Serbia and has built factories in Šabac and Loznica, plans to expand its capacities in other parts of the country.
