The Serbian Tax Administration has published its latest list of the country’s largest tax debtors as of 31 October. At the top of the list of 248 active companies is Mera Invest from Belgrade, owing more than 1 billion dinars.
In second place is Metal Connect from Novi Sad, with a debt of 308,386,522 dinars, nearly four times smaller than the debt held by the top-listed company. Third place is occupied by Belgrade-based Lumaco doo, owing slightly more than 277 million dinars.
Fourth on the list is GD Otpadni Metali doo from Belgrade–Zemun, with a debt of 273,680,705 dinars, followed by DFK from Mladenovac, which owes nearly 263 million dinars. Next is Belgrade’s Franky Motors, with a debt of just over 262 million dinars.
Seventh place belongs to Klanica Budućnost from Kragujevac, owing around 254 million dinars. In eighth place is Belgrade’s Familia marketi 1992 doo, with a debt slightly exceeding 252 million dinars. It is followed by OMK from Belgrade, which owes 237,718,379 dinars.
Closing out the top ten is Promonta doo from Belgrade, with a debt of 231,950,040 dinars.
At the bottom of the list of active companies is Studentsko-omladinska zadruga Josipana from Lazarevac, which owes around 20 million dinars.
Among legal entities in bankruptcy, the largest debtor is Beogradska banka AD, with a debt of 19,289,272,198 dinars.
At the top of the list of companies whose tax identification number (PIB) has been revoked is MPK Metali Kika doo from Belgrade, owing 3,313,117,893 dinars.
Among entrepreneurs, the biggest debtor is the PR agency KDS Soft from Belgrade, which owes 622,188,111 dinars.
