Serbia, Revenue from “smart services” is four billion euros
, NewsThe income of the domestic IT industry from “smart services” (information communication technology, professional or creative services) from abroad amounted to four billion euros, according to the brochure “Serbia 2030 Time for SMEs”, published by the Center for Advanced Economic Studies (CEVES ).
The domestic IT industry has globally successful companies in the fields of ICT (information communication technology) applications that are applied in the economy, video games, blockchain technologies in which it is recognized as a European startup hub, and in fintech technology.
The share of employed ICT experts in the total number of employees in 2021 in Serbia was 3.3 percent, and in the EU it was 4.5 percent, according to this study.
