Serbia’s Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic said that he expects an auction for the sale of part of the frequency spectrum for the introduction of 5G will take place in the second half of 2020, reports Blic. He added that the process could be conducted in two phases and that not only operators will take part, but also industry and hi-tech companies.
Ljajic added that the state wants to get the highest price possible for this spectrum, while also ensuring that operators have the appropriate financial resources to invest in network development.
