In July, Serbia had 11,767 job vacancies, according to the National Employment Service. The highest demand was for warehouse workers, with 635 positions advertised.
Following them were loading workers (494 vacancies), couriers (461), and programmers (393). Other sought-after roles included reinforcers, carpenters, construction laborers, kitchen assistants, cooks, and room cleaners.
On the lower end, jobs such as electricians, road workers, advertising agents, and veterinary technicians had only five openings each, while architects, corporate risk managers, and computer science/IT teachers had just four advertised positions.
Of the total vacancies, 8,581 were for fixed-term employment, while 2,883 were for permanent positions.
Regionally, Belgrade had the most job openings at 6,747, followed by Vojvodina with 1,740, Å umadija and Western Serbia with 1,824, and Southern and Eastern Serbia with the fewest at 1,161.
