The International Tourism Fair, which gathered over 400 domestic and international exhibitors, is coming to a close. Marija Labović, the Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, told RTS that Serbia showcased attractive offers and that Serbian spas drew significant attention.

Labović mentioned that the first two days of the 46th International Fair were focused on business cooperation. “All exhibitors are very satisfied, as the ‘two-to-two’ workshops were well-organized, leading to many business contacts. It was also important for us to engage with numerous foreign delegations attending the Fair,” Labović said.

Hall four was dedicated to Serbia’s offerings.

“Serbia is a very attractive and current tourist destination. Visitors were eager to explore all the destinations and discover new options to decide where to spend, if not their entire vacation, at least part of it in Serbia this year,” Labović explained.

This year, Serbian spas once again captured the most interest.

“When we look at the number of overnight stays by domestic tourists, over a third of all overnight stays are in our spas. This shows the strong interest of domestic tourists in spas, and we also see an increase in arrivals and overnight stays by foreign tourists,” Labović emphasized.
