Discussions included the organization of the Serbian-Chinese Business Forum in Xiamen, where the Belt and Road Institute has already opened a representative office. Mesarović emphasized that the goal is to make Serbian products available to Chinese consumers via online platforms, further promoting the Free Trade Agreement signed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Chinese President Xi Jinping. She highlighted Serbia’s position as the gateway to Europe for Chinese companies.

Within the framework of the strategic partnership between Serbia and China, the meeting also focused on deepening cooperation, with further discussions planned during Mesarović’s upcoming visit to China, including meetings with new investors interested in Serbia.

Mesarović stressed that these initiatives reflect the policies of President Vučić, the Serbian government, and the Serbian Progressive Party, which have strengthened Serbia’s international standing and reinforced a close partnership with China. She added that stability, development, and strong cooperation remain key guarantees for Serbia’s continued economic progress and enhanced international position.
