Serbia’s National Assembly President Ana Brnabić highlighted that the opening of German company Milbauer’s new facility in Stara Pazova demonstrates continued investor confidence in Serbia and signals the country’s return to a path of development.

The factory, officially inaugurated by President Aleksandar Vučić alongside Milbauer CEO Josef Milbauer and German Ambassador Anke Conrad, will produce biometric documents using artificial intelligence and full automation. The investment exceeds 20 million euros and will create over 150 jobs.

Brnabić emphasized that in times of economic and political uncertainty across Europe, each new investment is a significant achievement, underscoring Serbia’s resilience and commitment to growth and modernization. The Stara Pazova facility is set to become one of the most advanced factories in Europe for this sector.
