, NewsIn Kruševac, the factory of the Swiss company Etampa from the metal machining sector was officially opened, employing about 25 workers, and it is planned to have up to 60 by the end of the year, while the production capacity is about 280 million parts per year, eKapija announced.
Most customers of Etampa products are from the automotive industry (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti), electronics and electrical engineering, construction and medical as well as security technology.
Currently, the biggest problem, as pointed out by director Aleksandar Stanković, is the lack of toolmakers, and the plans are to engage together with the Regional Chamber of Commerce and the School Administration in initiating dual education for those needs, writes eKapija.
Etampa AG was founded in 1945 in Switzerland. It has developed into a significant international company active in the stamping and fine grinding sectors. On 7,200 square meters of factory space in its facilities in the USA (Illinois), Blansko in the Czech Republic and in Kruševac, Etampa produces high-performance tools.
