Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Adrijana Mesarović, met with representatives of the company China Shandong International to continue talks initiated in Shanghai on placing Serbian products in the company’s network of gas stations and retail outlets at railway stations. The first orders are expected by the end of this year.

The Chinese delegation was led by Director Chang Xiuxian. As Mesarović noted on her Instagram account, the meeting resulted in concrete steps that should lead to the first purchase orders from the company before year-end. Serbian products are expected to be available on the shelves of China Shandong’s gas stations and retail points at railway stations, as well as throughout Shandong Province.

Mesarović recalled that two weeks ago in Shanghai, Serbian Prime Minister Prof. Djuro Macut and the president of China Shandong International discussed opportunities for distributing Serbian products at the company’s gas stations and small retail outlets across China’s railway network.

“Serbia is moving forward under the leadership of President Aleksandar Vučić, the Government of Serbia, and the Serbian Progressive Party led by Miloš Vučević,” Mesarović said after the meeting in Belgrade.
