In three months, the railway line from Niš to Leskovac will be opened. By the end of August, people will be able to travel by train from Belgrade to Subotica in one hour and fifteen minutes, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at today’s press conference. The president also stated that efforts to attract foreign investors have continued, with a factory set to open in Western Serbia in a few days and several more planned in Niš by the end of the year.

“For us, it is important that we continue working on other matters as well, and if there is no drought and the agricultural year is good, I expect growth above 3 percent,” Vučić said.

The Serbian president also emphasized the importance of finding a solution for water supply due to problems with the water network.
