Serbia to open Schott Pharma factory in Jagodina, creating 350 jobs amid strong economic growth

Siniša Mali, the Minister of Finance in the technical mandate, announced that the Schott Pharma pharmaceutical packaging factory will officially open in Jagodina. This German investment is expected to create 350 new jobs, according to Beta.

Mali highlighted that despite global crises, Serbia has managed to establish itself as a secure and attractive destination for investments. He pointed out that Germany remains Serbia’s largest foreign trade partner, with over 1,000 German-owned companies operating in the country, employing more than 80,000 people.

He also emphasized that Serbia is currently ranked among the top three fastest-growing economies in Europe.
