Serbia to raise minimum hourly wage to 337 dinars starting October 1

Starting October 1, the minimum labor price in Serbia will be set at 337 dinars per working hour, net, according to a decision made by the Social and Economic Council and published in the Official Gazette. This decision was reached during a session held on July 15.

Currently, the minimum wage is based on an hourly rate of 308 dinars. With this increase, the minimum wage will rise by 9.4% and will exceed 500 euros per month.

Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski, the chairwoman of the Social and Economic Council and Serbia’s Minister of Labor, stated that the decision to raise the minimum wage was unanimous and a result of effective social dialogue in the country.
