Serbia’s Finance Minister, Siniša Mali, confirmed that the country’s minimum wage will increase from the current 457 euros to 500 euros starting October 1, followed by a regular increase to 550 euros from January 1 next year.
The October hike represents an extraordinary 9.4% increase, agreed upon by the Social-Economic Council, while the proposed January raise is planned at 10.1%. Over the past 12 months, these adjustments will result in a cumulative minimum wage increase of 37% in Serbia.
