The Serbian Tax Administration announced that freelancers who earned income in 2020 from contractual fees for copyright and related rights, as well as fees for completed work subject to self-assessed taxation, will receive their tax assessments by mail in the coming days.
The determined tax obligations can be paid in 120 equal monthly installments, with the first installment due on the 15th of the month following the month in which the tax authority issued the assessment. Taxpayers must pay the first installment no later than November 17, 2025, or the first business day after the weekend. The obligations are based on data provided by commercial banks on individual income earned.
