Serbia’s Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic announced that by the end of the year an international call will be publish for the choice of a strategic partner that would work together with the state of Serbia on the exploitation of oil shales in Aleksinac.
During a break in a conference on investment in mining called “Mineral resources in Serbia -a driving force for economic development,” Dulic noted that there is a great interest of investors to enter a partnership for exploitation of oil shale in the Aleksinac basin, from which it is possible to produce oil, gas and electricity.
