Serbia will sign co-operation agreement with US renewable energy company UGT Renewables

The American company UGT Renewables LLC, which operates in the field of renewable energy sources, and the Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia will sign a Cooperation Agreement tomorrow.
The signing will follow after the meeting of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, with the representatives of the company, the Service for Cooperation with the Media of the President of Serbia announced.
It should be reminded that the representatives of UGT Renewables talked in March about potential investments in the field of solar energy with the Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic.
– The Ministry of Mining and Energy has prepared a new legal framework in the field of energy, including the new Law on Renewable Energy Sources, which is currently in the process of adoption. We want to create a favorable environment for new investments in the use of renewable energy sources, including solar energy, and we are happy that more and more companies are interested in investing in Serbia – said Mihajlovic at the time.
Representatives of the American company, led by the founder and president of the company Robert Berman, presented some of the most significant investments of this company in the world and proposals for cooperation on possible projects in Serbia in the field of solar energy, eKapija reports.
