After 40 years of absence of Serbian agricultural products from the Iraqi market, the ministers reached an agreement that our delegation will travel to Baghdad next month.
Namely, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Branislav Nedimovic, talked with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, about the export of Serbian agricultural products to Iraq.
At the request of the Iraqi delegation, a team of experts from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management is going to Iraq, where, in addition to talks on exporting our food, work will begin on preparing projects for agricultural development in that country.
Serbian experts will be engaged in drafting strategic documents for the development of Iraqi agriculture, but also in talks on cooperation in all other sectors of agriculture, eKapija reports.
