Serbian Chamber of Commerce project advances to finals of prestigious World Chamber competition

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce’s Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) project supporting SMEs in Digital and AI transformation has reached the finals of the 14th World Chamber Competition, organized by the World Federation of Chambers (WCF ICC), the Chamber announced. The winner will be announced on September 4 in Melbourne during the WCF ICC World Congress of Chambers. The Serbian Chamber delegation will be led by its president, Marko Čadež, who was recently elected to the General Council of the World Federation of Chambers ICC by representatives of over 120 chambers worldwide.

The World Chambers Competition is the most prestigious global contest for chamber projects. This year, the PKS-CDT project made it to the finals in the Best Chamber Innovation Project category, selected from 83 projects across 41 countries.

Other finalists in this category include the West Business Chamber of Great Britain with their “Innovations in international trade: Carnet Tracker and CarnetCheck,” the Ankara Chamber of Commerce in Turkey with their AI-supported chatbot “ATONET Smart Assistant,” and the Iran Chamber of Commerce’s “CHaCHa” chatbot.

The PKS-CDT project provides a structured, adaptable methodology to support the digital transformation of SMEs on an international scale.

Services offered by PKS-CDT, also accessible to foreign chambers, include establishing national frameworks for SME digital transformation, training and certifying digital transformation consultants in line with ISO 17024 standards, developing comprehensive SME digitization support programs, transferring the Digital Academy’s education model, providing tools for data analysis and monitoring program impact, and fostering startup ecosystem development.

These services empower the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and other chambers worldwide to strengthen SMEs, enhance digital skills, and cultivate sustainable innovation ecosystems based on Serbia’s proven model.

Besides the Best Chamber Innovation Project category, chambers worldwide nominated projects in categories such as Best Out-of-the-Box Project, Best Green Transition Project, Best Collaboration Chambers, Business and Government Project, and Best Diversity and Inclusion Project.
