Serbian companies eye expansion into Chinese global supply chains at major trade fair

Serbian companies have a strong opportunity to enter global supply chains in China, said Marko Čadež, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), during his visit to the China International Supply Chain Fair in Beijing, where 12 Serbian companies are participating.

Čadež emphasized that Serbia’s presence at one of the world’s largest fairs sends a powerful message that the Serbian economy has valuable offerings for the global market. Serbian companies will have the chance to position themselves within the supply chains of major Chinese systems and negotiate new business deals.

He will hold meetings with leading technology firms such as Alibaba and participate in forums with representatives from Nvidia and other tech giants.

After the fair’s opening, Čadež met with representatives from the company Shandong.

The Serbian national pavilion, located in the hall dedicated to digital technologies, was visited by Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), who sampled Serbian wines and products including Bambi’s “Plazma” biscuits.

The 300-square-meter Serbian pavilion brings together leading companies from IT, logistics, food industry, furniture production, and advanced technological solutions.

The goal of Serbia’s participation is to strengthen economic ties with China, boost exports, enter global supply chains, and showcase Serbia as an attractive destination for investment in technology, innovation, and manufacturing, according to PKS.
