Serbian legal-technology startup Immigrationist has officially launched an innovative digital platform powered by artificial intelligence that aims to automate and simplify complex immigration procedures, initially targeting the United Kingdom’s visa system. The solution is designed to make administrative processes faster, more accessible and more reliable for users around the world, particularly those navigating the often stressful and bureaucratic UK immigration framework.

The platform was developed with support from the Innovation Activities Fund under the Smart Start 2025 programme, reflecting growing interest in AI-enabled tools within Serbia’s tech ecosystem. Rather than merely digitising paperwork, Immigrationist’s AI integrates intelligent automation to reduce risk, improve transparency and give applicants greater control over procedures that deeply affect careers, family decisions and future opportunities. The broader ambition, according to the startup’s leadership, is to position Immigrationist as a trusted AI platform for global mobility, extending beyond the UK to support broader cross-border movement and migration challenges.

Experts in the mobility and immigration tech sector increasingly see generative AI as a transformative force in managing visa applications, compliance and talent mobility, with advanced systems now being used globally to automate document validation, track visa timelines and offer predictive insights that can reduce delays and errors in processing. These developments suggest that platforms like Immigrationist are part of a wider shift to technology-driven solutions in global mobility management.

The launch of Immigrationist’s AI platform highlights an emerging trend in the use of artificial intelligence to tackle long-standing frictions in international immigration systems, where digital innovation is key to scaling services, improving user experience and expanding access to global opportunities.
