The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, criticized the sale of SBB, stating that Dragan Šolak gained an additional 1.5 billion euros from the deal. He claimed that the sale of Total TV to Telekom was imminent, and with it, the loss of N1 and Nova S channels, as these channels are tied to exclusive contracts with certain companies.
Vučić emphasized that Telekom subscribers would benefit from better content, including Sports Club and Arena channels, but would no longer have access to N1 and Nova S. He also noted that PPF, a company involved in the deal, made strategic decisions to maintain exclusivity.
