JSC “Serbian Railways” intends to use a part of the proceeds of the loan from the European Investment Bank (Bank) towards the cost of execution of the works related to the reconstruction and modernization of railway line on the Gilje – Cuprija – Paracin section of the Belgrade-Nis railway line.
It invites the tenderers to submit the sealed offers for the following contract to be funded from a part of the proceeds of the loan:
“EXECUTION OF THE CIVIL ENGINEERING WORKS OF RECONSTRUCTION AND MODERNIZATION OF RAILWAY LINE ON THE GILJE – CUPRIJA – PARACIN SECTION OF BELGRADE – NIS RAILWAY LINE “.
Within the first phase of reconstruction and modernization of the existing Gilje – Cuprija – Paracin section with a single-track railway line, the works related to the construction of a double-track railway bridge over the Velika Morava River are ongoing on this section.
On the concerned section, the works related to the procurement of equipment and to the reconstruction and modernization of the electro-technical facilities of the railway line (Lot 1 – signalling – interlocking facilities, Lot 2 – telecommunication facilities and Lot 3 – overhead contact line and power supply facilities) will be performed in parallel with the above mentioned works.
The above works are planned to be performed along with the works which are subject of this Invitation, and to be completed together.
Tendering for the present contract is open to all firms from all countries. Submission deadline is February 10, 2012.
