The Serbian startup “Baby FM” has advanced to the semifinals of the startup competition at GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology fair held in Dubai. The startup offers an innovative solution designed to give parents greater safety and peace of mind when caring for their infants.
Led by Tamara Papić, Baby FM was inspired by her personal experience and understanding of the everyday challenges parents face. The company’s flagship product, Baby FM, is a smart monitoring device that measures and analyzes real-time data on key environmental factors affecting a baby’s well-being — including temperature, humidity, air quality, and noise levels.
The device connects to a mobile app, allowing parents to continuously monitor their baby’s surroundings. Whenever any parameter exceeds safe levels, the app sends instant alerts, giving parents valuable time to respond and ensure their child’s comfort and safety.
Baby FM has already caught the attention of investors and distributors across Europe and Asia, with future development plans including AI integration to provide personalized insights and recommendations for each baby’s daily routine.
During the event, Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, met with Tamara Papić to discuss the startup’s innovation and its growing international potential.
