Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management Dragan Glamoćić, alongside EU Deputy Head of Delegation Plamena Halačeva, today presented the first 19 IPARD III approvals for the purchase of new tractors under Measure 1, “Investments in Physical Assets of Agricultural Holdings,” at the Serbian Government.

Glamoćić emphasized that the event is more than an administrative formality—it demonstrates how EU funds and national support combine to provide farmers with modern working conditions comparable to their counterparts in the EU. He also highlighted that the new tractors will improve productivity, reduce costs, and lessen environmental impact.

Through this public call, a total of 369 agricultural producers will receive support, with total investments amounting to 2.7 billion dinars, of which the EU finances 75 percent and Serbia contributes over 700 million dinars.

Halačeva underscored that the IPARD program represents the EU’s most significant form of support for Serbia’s agriculture and food processing sector, providing farmers and agribusinesses with direct access to grants.

Recipients come from across Serbia, including Sombor, Šid, Arilje, Irig, and Bogatić.
