Serbia’s average January salary reaches 107,476 dinars, real growth at 7.2%

The average net salary in Serbia for January 2025 was 107,476 dinars, while the gross salary, including taxes and contributions, stood at 148,440 dinars, according to the Republic Institute of Statistics. The median net salary was 83,031 dinars, meaning half of the employees earned up to this amount.

Compared to January 2024, net and gross salaries increased nominally by 12.1% and in real terms by 7.2%. However, compared to December 2024, the average gross salary remained unchanged nominally but fell by 0.6% in real terms, while the net salary dropped by 0.8% nominally and 1.4% in real terms.
