In October 2024, the average net salary in Serbia was 98,538 dinars, while the median net salary stood at 76,895 dinars, according to the Republic Bureau of Statistics (RZS).
The gross earnings for the month of October were 136,173 dinars.
Between January and October 2024, gross earnings increased by 14.4 percent in nominal terms, or 9.3 percent in real terms, compared to the same period last year.
When compared to October 2023, the average gross salary for October 2024 saw a nominal increase of 13.7 percent and a real increase of 8.8 percent. Meanwhile, the average net salary rose by 13.6 percent nominally and 8.7 percent in real terms. The median net salary for October was 76,895 dinars, indicating that 50 percent of employees earned less than this amount.
