President Aleksandar Vučić stated that Serbia currently has nearly five billion euros in its accounts, a figure that even countries ten times larger than Serbia do not have.
During a conversation with citizens in Čoka, Vučić highlighted that Serbia has experienced the highest economic growth in its history.
“We’ve had the largest growth in Serbia’s history over the past 12 years, whether some like it or not – from a GDP of 32 billion back then, we are now expected to finish this year with 89-90 billion,” said Vučić.
He emphasized that the government has worked hard to protect the national treasury, adding that “we always have money to invest, and we can always help those who need it the most.”
All young people will solve their housing issue – ALL Vučić concluded his visit to the North Banat District with a conversation with citizens in Ada, where he announced that he expects the law on housing for young people to be adopted at the first session of the Serbian Parliament.
“This is a big challenge for us. I believe we will pass this law at the first session of Parliament. In 12-13 days, or at most 15 days, we will adopt this law and begin with the first 5,500-6,000 housing units, but I know this number will eventually go up to 60,000.”
“All young people, from 20 to 35 years old, will solve their housing issue this way, all of them,” Vučić said, responding to a question about how the state will support young people with subsidies for home loans.
