Serbia’s Minister of Finance, Siniša Mali, held talks with Yong Hwa Cin, chairman of Chinese company Minth Holding Group, to discuss plans for developing an industrial zone in Inđija, the Ministry announced.
Minth, present in Serbia since 2018 with factories in Loznica and Šabac, is expanding its operations and workforce, aiming to establish a presence in the Inđija industrial zone.
Mali emphasized the importance of companies like Minth that contribute to employment and wage growth in Serbia, pledging full government support to create a favorable business environment and assist with challenges.
Representatives from Minth expressed satisfaction with their business in Serbia and highlighted growing interest from other Asian investors in the Inđija zone.
Globally, Minth operates over 70 production facilities and five R&D centers across multiple countries, employing more than 20,000 workers. The company supplies major automakers, including Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes Benz, controlling over 80% of the global market share for their products.
In 2023, Minth Holding Group reported a turnover of approximately 2.6 billion euros.
