Serbia’s industrial production sees growth in March 2025, up by 6.9%

In March 2025, Serbia’s industrial production increased by 6.9 percent compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Republic Statistical Office (RZS). When compared to the average of 2024, industrial production in March 2025 was 5.2 percent higher.

For the period from January to March 2025, industrial production was up by 2.1 percent compared to the same period in 2024.

Breaking it down by sector, the processing industry saw a significant growth of 10.4 percent in March 2025, compared to March 2024. Mining also experienced an increase of 4.7 percent, while the Electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning sector saw a decline of 6.4 percent.

The volume of industrial production in March 2025 was higher in 16 sectors, which account for 65 percent of the total industrial production, and lower in 13 sectors.
