Serbia’s public debt at 38.87 billion euros in December 2024, representing 47.4% of GDP

At the end of December 2024, Serbia’s public debt stood at approximately 38.87 billion euros, which accounted for 47.4% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP), according to the Ministry of Finance.

In comparison, Serbia’s public debt at the end of November 2024 was slightly lower, at 38.39 billion euros, or 46.8% of GDP.

Looking back to the end of 2023, the public debt was recorded at 36.15 billion euros, which represented 48% of GDP.
