Serbia’s public debt in May was 28 billion euros, 55.6 percent of GDP

At the end of May 2021, the public debt of Serbia amounted to 28.07 billion euros, or 55.6 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), according to today’s data from the Ministry of Finance.
The amount of public debt in May is higher by 304 million euros compared to April, while its share in GDP increased by 0.6 percentage points on a monthly basis.
At the end of 2020, Serbia’s public debt amounted to 26.66 billion euros, which was 57.4 percent of GDP, reports Tanjug.
