Serbia’s tourism records positive growth rates

Serbia’s Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that in the last few years, Serbia’s tourism has recorded positive growth rates, which proves that our country has opted for the right development strategy of this economic branch on time.

Dacic said at the opening of a session of the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourist Organization (UNWTO), noting that last year Serbia had a profit of around one billion dollars from foreign tourists, adding that it also had two million tourists and 6.5 million overnight stays.

The Prime Minister presented the cultural-historical and tourist potentials of Serbia and Belgrade to the UNWTO guests.

The meeting of the UNWTO Executive Council is held in Belgrade on 28-29 May.
